My work focuses on trauma recovery, including experiences connected to shame based environments, difficult life transitions, and religious trauma. I also provide consultation and supervision for therapists seeking to deepen their clinical work.

Our Specialties

INDIVIDUAL TRAUMA THERAPY
Individual trauma therapy provides a supportive space to explore and process experiences that may still be affecting your life, relationships, or sense of safety.

Trauma can shape how we experience the world, our bodies, and our relationships. In therapy we work together to understand those experiences, develop coping strategies, and move toward healing and recovery.

My approach integrates trauma informed therapy and relational work to support clients as they rebuild self trust, process difficult memories, and reconnect with their own internal signals.

EMDR THERAPY
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched psychotherapy method that helps people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences.

EMDR therapy helps the brain process difficult memories so that they no longer trigger the same fight, flight, or freeze responses. The experience is still remembered, but the emotional intensity and nervous system activation connected to the memory can be significantly reduced.

EMDR is commonly used to treat trauma, PTSD, anxiety, panic, and other distressing experiences.

GROUP THERAPY
Group therapy can be a powerful environment for healing and personal growth.

By sharing experiences with others in a supportive setting, individuals can gain new perspectives, develop coping skills, and experience the power of community in the healing process.

Current and past groups have included:
-
EMDR Groups (G-TEP)
-
Healing from spiritual abuse
-
Body image healing groups
-
Girls social emotional growth groups
Group offerings may vary throughout the year.

EMDR CONSULTATION
EMDR consultation supports EMDR trained therapists in developing confidence and competence in EMDR therapy.

During consultation, therapists can discuss cases, explore clinical questions, and receive guidance from an experienced EMDR consultant.

Consultation helps clinicians strengthen their skills and maintain fidelity to the EMDR model.

QUALIFIED SUPERVISION
As a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor Qualified Supervisor, I provide supervision for therapists working toward licensure.

Supervision offers guidance, mentorship, and professional development as clinicians navigate the early stages of their careers and develop their identity as therapists.

EMDR FACILITATION
EMDR facilitation involves supporting newly trained EMDR therapists during the practicum portions of EMDR Basic Training.

Facilitators help therapists practice EMDR skills, ask questions, and receive feedback so they can confidently implement the methods introduced during training.
Other Services
I also provide consultation, supervision, and training support for therapists seeking to deepen their clinical skills.

GENERAL CONSULTATION
General consultation provides space for licensed therapists to explore clinical questions, discuss cases, and deepen their therapeutic approach.

Consultation can support clinicians in strengthening their skills, expanding their understanding of trauma informed work, and navigating complex cases.

WRITING AND CREATIVE WORK
Writing can be a powerful tool for reflection, expression, and healing.

Through poetry, essays, and other forms of creative writing, individuals can explore their experiences, process emotions, and reconnect with their own voice.

Creative work exploring trauma, memory, identity, and healing is also shared through the weekly Substack and the Raised on Shame podcast.
