Welcome

Wilder Wellness Logo with coneflower leaves in shape of KW

If you found your way here you may be carrying experiences that are difficult to name. Perhaps you grew up in an environment shaped by shame, strict expectations, or beliefs that made it hard to trust your own thoughts and feelings.

Maybe you are navigating the aftermath of trauma or trying to understand who you are outside of the roles you were given.

Therapy can offer space to slow down, explore those experiences, and begin rebuilding a sense of safety and self trust.

You do not have to figure it out alone.

HOW THERAPY CAN HELP

Therapy offers space to process experiences that may still be shaping your life, relationships, and sense of safety. My approach integrates trauma informed therapy and EMDR to help clients:

ABOUT KIMBERLY

How does trauma impact systems?
This question has guided my work since I began practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2012.

Trauma often behaves like an invasive plant, weaving its way quietly through multiple areas of our lives. It can affect relationships, identity, self-worth, and the body in ways that are difficult to name. Untreated trauma can feel like it is blocking the light. My work focuses on helping clients understand these patterns and gently begin the process of restoring balance, safety, and connection.

My educational and professional journey has given me particular insight into the complexities of spiritual identity and the wounds that can arise within faith-based environments. While my undergraduate and graduate institutions are part of my past and do not reflect my current views, they provided valuable perspective for supporting people healing from spiritual harm. I hold deep respect for clients of all belief systems and strive to create a space where each person’s spiritual experience is honored, protected, and self-directed.

I work with adults of all ages and identities, including survivors of sexual abuse, individuals recovering from spiritual trauma, LGBTQIA+ clients, foster and adoptive families, and those navigating attachment wounds or generational trauma. My approach is collaborative, grounded, and always judgment-free. I meet clients exactly where they are.

I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and serve as an EMDR Consultant and Facilitator. I am also a Qualified Supervisor for mental health counselors in Florida and certified in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), supporting families as they heal together. My work has taken me internationally to Haiti, where I partnered with an orphanage to help staff and adoptive parents become more trauma-informed.

Through Wilder Wellness, I offer individual therapy, EMDR therapy, EMDR consultation, professional consultation, group services, and licensure supervision. My focus is always the same: helping clients recognize trauma patterns, unroot what no longer serves them, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and connection.
